Carrier boxes for different bird sizes and species

The range includes models suitable for birds of different sizes, such as ring-necked parakeets, parrots, cockatoos, macaws and birds of prey, among others.

The species indicated in the name of each model serves as a size reference, helping you more easily identify the carrier box size suitable for the birds you wish to transport.

1 Robust structure

Pine plywood

The structure is made from untreated and uncoated pine plywood, with sanded surfaces and edges.

2 Ventilation

Air circulation

The ventilation areas allow air to circulate during transport.

3 Compartments

Suitable capacity

Models are available with different capacities and internal configurations, allowing one or several birds to be transported in the same space or, depending on the model, in separate compartments.

4 Reusable

Designed for multiple journeys

With appropriate cleaning, drying and storage, the carrier box can be reused for different journeys.

Air Export or Air Export Calm: what is the difference?

Both ranges share the same basic construction. The main difference is the additional visual screening provided on Air Export Calm models.

Air Export range

Ventilation and visibility

On Air Export models, the ventilation areas are protected by galvanised metal mesh, allowing air to circulate while providing greater visibility of the surroundings.

How to choose the right carrier box

When choosing a model, consider the size and number of birds you wish to transport.

  • Choose the carrier box size according to the size of the bird.
  • Use the species indicated in the model names — ring-necked parakeets, parrots, cockatoos, macaws, birds of prey and others — as a size reference.
  • Select the capacity and configuration most suitable for the number of birds to be transported.
  • Consider whether you wish to transport the birds in the same space or in separate compartments, according to the options available for each model.
Before travelling: check with the airline in advance regarding the requirements applicable to the species and carrier box, as well as the necessary documentation. Conditions may vary depending on the operator and route.

Before use

Before each use, make sure that the carrier box you have chosen is suitable for the size and number of birds.

Also check the condition of the wood, mesh and fastening systems and, where applicable, the perch, making sure that all components are in good condition.

Cleaning and storage

After the journey, remove the bedding and larger debris. To finish cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth or sponge, taking care not to soak the plywood.

Before storing or reusing the carrier box, allow it to dry completely in a well-ventilated area. Store it in a dry place protected from rain and damp.
